Lessons from The Logger's Pocketbook

The Logger's Pocketbook was published by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources in 1986. It was distributed to loggers and forestry workers to promote improved utilization of our depleting hardwood  resources by illustrating proper utilization practises and safe working procedures. I can only imagine how many of these were handed out only to be tossed aside and never looked at. Although humorous, the acts shown in the following cartoon's do depict proper procedure. This is a great little book and I hope to share more of Lumpy's (the main character) logging scenario's every so often.
