Some Wildlife

When heading off into the bush you can never forget that the land you are walking is another being's home.
Whether a bull moose or black bear, it is important to remember to respect what is around you even if you may not see it.
When an animal is given respect they will respect you back.
Untouchable.
Nothing like a romp through a swamp.
Heading back to the truck I spotted this curious Black Bear standing up on its hind legs to better it's view of us.
It wasnt quick after hopping in the truck that it took off.
Curious fawn.
Enjoying an early morning stare down with this Bull.

I'm outta here...

Nice, I've never seen a moose in real life. I'd love to have a casual stare-down. Great shots!

Moose are great to watch. How they move so gracefully through the bush is beyond me. Your respect grows when you pack out a shed from an Alder swamp...

Good to see you back in action. I've never seen a moose in the wild (or ever) for that matter, but I have been seeing a lot of deer and wild turkeys down by me.

Come up to these parts and you wouldn't have any troubles seeing one... The deer population around here has exploded, so much that the city is now allowing bow hunting in certain areas.

Might just have to wander up north of the border. I have a tentative trip up to Quebec, but just the idea, no solid plans yet. I also need to find some whistle stop beer because you pictures make it look like the best beer going.
